A Multi-Generational Family Music Class!
Family Music Classes for infants, toddlers, and preschoolers
at Village on the Park, Denton

We're excited to announce that Coyote Music Studio has partnered with the senior home Village on the Park, Denton to bring you a multi-generational Family Music class! Like our other Family Music Classes, this one aimed at infants, toddlers, and preschoolers is designed to encourage an increase in developmental skills. The difference is we will now have residents from Village on the Park singing and playing instruments with us! As a music therapist who worked in senior homes and memory care for many years before focusing on early childhood, this is a class I've dreamed of hosting for years. I hope you all can join us!
Designed and taught by Board-Certified Music Therapist, Tonya Blum Lincoln, this class uses a variety of well-known and original children's music incorporating strategies with different options for playing and interacting depending on the student's needs, abilities, and age. Families with kids of different ages are encouraged to bring everyone - it's a Family Music Class and the adults get in free!
Dates/Time: 10-10:45am Wednesdays, September 3rd - October 22
Class Max: 15 Families - at least 1 Adult is required to attend, may include more than 1 Child
Cost: $85/month for the first child, 10% sibling discount for each additional child

All classes are designed so students of all abilities can have fun learning music together no matter their current level and achieve progress in age appropriate developmental skills (such as improving communication skills, increasing fine and gross motor skills, improving social/emotional states, increasing academic knowledge, increasing coping/relaxation skills, improving quality of life, and others).
