Starting in March the Family Music Class will undergo some changes to make things better for you.
There are a lot of changes but it all boils down to this: Enrollment will be easier for you and I can now offer discounts on the Family Music Class! I'm offering a 25% credit on March's classes for any family that enrolls in February's Family Music class! Enroll through the city's Parks & rec Catalog: Dentonparks.com under "Coyote Music" A brief overview (scroll down for more info): 10am Mondays at Explorium Children's Museum, starting March 7th! 10am Saturdays at Denton's MLK Jr Rec Center -- Will continue but enrollment will be directly through the studio starting in March. 10am Tuesdays at Denton's MLK Jr Rec Center -- Classes continue through February then move to Mondays at Explorium Children's Museum Family Music Class prices will change from $15/class to $10 but you must enroll in both days to attend both days. Any family that enrolls for the month of February in the Family Music Class at Denton's MLK Jr Rec Center will get a credit of 25% off of any of March's classes! The Saturday class is starting to fill up but we still have lots of space on Tuesday mornings. The catalog lists the class as both days but you can always attend just one and with this credit toward March's classes, you aren't losing anything! Enrollment is open now at the Dentonparks.com under "Coyote Music" and space is limited. Register now! To receive your 25% credit on March's classes, first enroll through the city's parks and rec catalog for February's Family Music Class. I'll create a Student Portal account for you with my studio if you don't already have one, send you the login, and add the 25% credit for March's classes to your Account. You can be invoiced to pay online through the Portal or pay in-person when March's classes begin. I'm offering this credit on March's classes because pricing and locations will be different starting in March. All Family Music Classes will be $10/class starting in March instead of $15 but you will need to enroll in both classes separately in order to attend both days. However, students will now be eligible for a 10% monthly discount whether they enroll in just Saturdays, Mondays, or both (not to be combined with the 25% special if you enroll in February). The 10am Saturday Family Music Class at Denton's MLK Jr Rec Center will continue! Though we will take a break on March 5 for our recital and March 12 for Musical Storytime & Puppet Show. Saturday classes will continue through the end of February, take a break March 5 & 12 then resume on March 19th. But February is the last month for the Tuesday class. In March, classes will be 10am Mondays and Saturdays. See below.about Explorium. Starting in March enrollment will be directly through the studio again, instead through Denton's Parks & Rec catalog. . Coyote Music Studio Enrollment: https://www.coyotemusicstudio.com/enrollment.html This allows you to attend music classes at any of our locations and allows me to offer discounts/special rates at different times of the year that I wasn't able to offer when enrollment was through the city. Enroll by 10/22 for 25% off! Friends, it's finally time for me to do what I've been wanting to do ever since starting my music therapy journey many years ago and I hope you'll join me. I'll be hosting monthly Music & Mindfulness Workshops in various locations around Denton, starting with the first one for adults (18+) on November 1st, 6:30pm at Chrysalis Clothing Gallery. For the last few years, I've focused on early childhood development through music but during my years providing music therapy in mental health clinics, senior homes, DayHabs, and other facilities, I often used music and mindfulness techniques to help my adult clients achieve their personal, non-musical goals. Now I'm bringing that to my community while sticking to my mission of providing affordable music therapy services to Denton County. These workshops will only be $25 for a 90min group music therapy session. You can enroll for the first one (at Chrysalis Clothing Gallery on November 1st at 6:30pm) through my website: https://www.coyotemusicstudio.com/18-music--mindfulness.html Music & Mindfulness is a 90min Music Therapy Workshop using music, meditation, and art to achieve positive goals and led by Board-Certified Music Therapist, Tonya S. Blum.
The Nov 1st workshop is limited to 10 in-person attendees and 10 Zoom attendees. And is located at Chrysalis Clothing Gallery: 326 E McKinney St Suite #104, Denton, TX 76201 $25 - In-Person Workshop $20 - Zoom Option Enroll by 10/22 for 25% off! Enroll online: https://www.coyotemusicstudio.com/18-music--mindfulness.html The workshop begins with a 45min meditation set to music that has been researched to provide a safe, grounding space and led by Board-Certified Music Therapist, Tonya S. Blum, in order to achieve a positive goal (such as improving emotional states, learning new relaxation/coping techniques, increasing attention/focus, improving self-care, increasing communication skills, increasing thankfulness, forgiveness, compassion, and others). Through art and discussion, group members process their experiences in the meditation and how it relates to their goals. See scheduled Workshops on our website to enroll and fill out the Music Therapy Intake form to better help Tonya meet the group's needs. https://www.coyotemusicstudio.com/18-music--mindfulness.html Sessions may be schedule for your facility by contacting Tonya. Goals are continually assessed and tailored to regular attendee's needs. However, goals are broad in order to better bring group cohesion and these workshops are not a substitute for intensive, personal therapy. Please talk to Tonya if you would like recommendations for counselors. |
