Circle Games and Dances

Miss Mary Mack and other Hand Clapping Games

Since it is the most common English-speaking Hand Clapping Games and children on playgrounds everywhere like to add their own verses and styles, there are many different ways to play Miss Mary Mack.

Down by the Banks

There are many different versions of the lyrics for this but the circle clapping is always the same.

Winter Recital Update: Preschool Polyphonics will join the students from It's Elementary to sing
Jingle Bells, Santa Claus is Coming to Town, and Frosty the Snowman.

The recital will begin at 4pm with the students from the homeschool music class singing the choral piece they've been working on,
"Sing for Peace," followed by their instrumental version of Jingle Bells.
Then the preschool students will join them on stage to sing Frosty, Santa Claus is coming to town, and a reprise of Jingle Bells -
singing this time with a couple students playing ukulele.
