Please comment to share about your experience at tonight's Music & Mindfulness Meditation group.Tonight we have the North Texas Daily filming our meditation group so I'm providing this space for anyone who wants to share their experience in our meditation, anonymously if you like! You can also email pictures of you art to me if you like me to add it to this post. Thanks for helping me build a meditation community in Denton. [email protected] You can also download the transcript from tonight if you'd like to participate from home. Your only payment is a comment about your experience.

Welcome to our first Music & Mindfulness online discussion! Download the transcript of last week's session and use the comments to share your experience - you can even upload a picture of your drawing. The only payment I ask is that you comment here later about your experience. You can even be anonymous if you like so be honest! The discussion helps you better understand your experience as well as how it relates to your intentions. It also helps provide me with feedback so I can better guide you in the future. I suggest you have a meditation partner who can play the listed music, adjust the volume, and guide you using the transcript then switch so you can guide your partner.
I'm happy to announce that Explorium Children's Museum will be the new location for our Saturday Family Music Class starting March 19th!
But with a couple changes. Change #1: 9:45am both Mondays AND Saturdays Since Saturdays are very busy at Explorium, Family Music classes will begin 15 minutes earlier. Explorium's normal opening time is 10am so they won't open until we're already in class but you can play after music on Saturdays! They remain closed most Mondays through the Spring. Change #2: Enroll in every class you attend - even drop-ins for the same day as class! Our space is limited and this helps us plan better. You can still pay cash or card in person after class but please create a Student Portal account by filling out the quick, online enrollment form on the studio's website. Enrollment: https://www.coyotemusicstudio.com/enrollment.html If you already have a Student Portal account, login and register for classes through the Calendar Tab by finding the date you want to attend and clicking "register." Change #3: No Preschool Polyphonics or Piano classes on Saturdays until I open our own space. I'm hoping to find us a permanent studio location by the fall semester. This means I'm looking for a space to lease that's approximately classroom sized or slightly bigger with a couple small rooms** so that we can have all our services in one location: classes, private lessons, and music therapy. This is a HUGE step for me (that I was actually trying to avoid). As we grow, though, it becomes more apparent that this is the only logical next step if I want to continue the early childhood classes that built this studio. . **If you know any places that fit this description please contact me. Families who attend during the week already know that Explorium is the location for Monday classes so I'm very excited (and thankful) that they have offered us a space to use on Saturdays as well! If you see Dinora when you're at Explorium, please also thank her. This move will allow me to give you a consistent class through the end of May. We may need to make some changes in the summer because of how busy Explorium will be and, hopefully, I'll find a permanent space by the fall. Thank you all so much for supporting me through the changes! I can't wait to see your smiling faces at our recital this Saturday, the Musical Storytime Puppet Show on March 12, and the return of Saturday Family Music class on March 19th. |
